How to apply

  1. Make an application through UAC or the University of Sydney
  2. Register online for an audition, portfolio submission or interview
  3. Check your email for a confirmation of your registration from the Conservatorium

If you are an international student, please check the University of Sydney website first for entry requirements.

Application Process: 

Step 1: Gain an ATAR or an equivalent international qualification

Step 2: Meet the English language requirement

Step 3: Include your audition material in the course application if recorded/submitting a portfolio. The recording must be no longer than 4 months at the time of submitting the audition. If you wish to attend a live audition, please indicate this in the application.

2018 Key dates

Make sure you register for your audition before the closing date. Registration opens in June. Please check back here for details on how to register.

Early round auditions 24 to 28 September
Registration closing date 1 September (11.59pm AEST)
Late round auditions 26 November to 7 December (excluding weekends)
Registration closing date 30 September (11.59pm AEST)
