NanoPitch Health: Driving health innovation

Get inspired by the next big ideas in health.

Building on the success of the inaguaral NanoPitch Health in 2023, we have now reshaped NanoPitch into a research translation and commercialisation program.

Sydney Nano researchers are striving to make nanotechnology part of the solution to everyday problems. In health care, nanotechnology can improve outcomes for patients and save lives. At the pitching event, our researchers will present their ideas to a panel of expert judges to compete for prizes and find potential partners to increase the impact of their work.

The prizes are:

  • Best Pitch - $100,000
  • Runner up - $20,000
  • People's Choice Pitch Award - $5,000
  • People's Choice Poster Award - $1,000
To ensure the success of our researchers, we offer comprehensive support before the pitching night. This includes ‘how to pitch’ resources, one-on-one mentoring, and pitch development sessions.

 Join us at NanoPitch:

  • Be the first to hear about the latest innovations coming out of the University of Sydney
  • Have the opportunity to network with the presenters, researchers, and industry
  • Learn the art of pitching
  • Find your next research and commercialisation partners

I strongly encourage fellow scientists and researchers to take part in NanoPitch. For me, it was a fantastic experience and acquiring the skill of effective pitching is crucial for any emerging scientist.
