Dr Ji specialises in empirical language studies, especially multilingual corpus analyses. She has published on health and environmental translation, translation research methods, literary translation stylistics, translation education and quality assessment.

Dr Ji warmly welcomes research applications from interested students of diverse language and cultural backgrounds with research interests at the intersection of health equity, language communications and safety/reliability of assistive technologies.
