Morse Stratification

Summary

Looks at ways of stratifying varieties and classifying singularities

Supervisor

Professor Laurentiu Paunescu.

Research location

School of Mathematics and Statistics

Program type

Masters/PHD

Synopsis

A very important topic in mathematics is to analyse and clasify singularities of analytic functions and of analytic varieties.

We are going to investigate the role of Morse Stability in the study of singularities.
