A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate with a first class honours degree (or H1 equivalent result e.g., MPhil) in an interdisciplinary field, such as biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmaceutical science or biomedical science, to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in Pharmacy.

Applicants should have experience in hands-on laboratory work using analytical methods such as chromatography (HPLC or LCMS), tissue culture or in vitro drug metabolism and the ability to use data analysis software such as MATLAB, SPSS or similar would be an added benefit. We seek a candidate who is independent and self-motivated, yet still able to work as part of a team. The candidate should be able to demonstrate very strong interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens*.
The scholarship shall be valued at the same rate as the Australian Postgraduate Award (APA), and indexed annually. It may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress.
