Masters/PHD
My current research using phenomenology and IPA is focussed on the lived experiences of patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), developing knowledge and theory to optimise patient experience and management, whilst they are in the ICU and beyond.
Within the Sydney Medical Program and Nepean Clinical School, I use phenomenology and qualitative analysis to analyse the educational experiences of healthcare students and staff, leading to innovation and implementation of new educational paradigms and curricula.
I have been awarded University and Government awards for my teaching and research 2016 Australian Government Citation for outstanding contribution to student learning.
'For creating and fostering an educational environment and culture that enhances learning by motivating students to develop a growth mindset and inspiring collegiate critical reflection.'
