About Dr Murray Thomson

I am striving to understand how an animal’s cells develop and function under stress, both singly and in a social context. Seeing an animal’s unique behavioural and physiological patterns of response to a constantly changing environment provide an intriguing challenge to work out the cellular and molecular signalling systems that are being triggered and mediating the physiological responses.

Dr Thomson interested in anatomy and physiology of animals in a changing world.
