About Dr Benjamin Miller

Dr Benjamin Miller has completed a PhD at UNSW on representations of race in nineteenth and twentieth century Australian and American literature. He is a published expert in the following areas: indigenous writing, Australian literature, Australian cinema, Australian theatre, critical race and whiteness studies, and postcolonial studies. His current research investigates representations of race in a transnational context, looking particularly at indigenous writing as a site of political argument. Ben is interested in supervising students working with critical race and whiteness studies, postcolonial theory, indigenous writing/cinema/theatre, or representations of race and identity in Australian literature/cinema/theatre.
