About Dr Birte Giesler

Dr Giesler holds holds an MA in German Literature, Sociology and Philosophy and a Dr. phi. in Modern German Literature both from the University of Karlsruhe/Germany. While her Master and doctoral research was on German women prose writers of the 18th and 19th centuries, her interests shifted with her postdoctoral research to contemporary drama and novels.
