About Associate Professor Michael Kertesz

As a molecular microbial ecologist, my research interests focus on how bacteria and fungi react to changes in their surroundings, especially in soil and compost, and in how they interact with plants and fungi in the region around plant roots (the “rhizosphere”).

Associate Professor Kertesz is a researcher in the School of Life and Environmental Sciences. For more information about Associate Professor Kertesz, please refer to his Academic Profile Online.
