livED - Be the voice of change for people living with eating disorders

Do you have a lived experience of an eating disorder and feel like you did / did not receive the care you needed?

Are you passionate about changing the health system for people with eating disorders?

Researchers at InsideOut Institute are hoping to fill the gaps and silences about eating disorders through ‘livED’.

livED is a place where anyone who has ever experienced body image, eating or exercise concerns, anyone who has been diagnosed with an eating disorder or anyone who has a lived experience but has never shared it, can contribute to research. Contributions can be as individual as the person with the choice of journal entries, short responses, recordings, image uploads or health measures.

If you are 16 years or above with a lived experience of an eating disorder, we invite you to share your story.

If at any time are feeling distressed, please call The Butterfly National Helpline 1800 ED HOPE (1800 33 4673).
