Mindtrack App: communicating personal risk of developing mental health problems

Mindtrack is a research trial testing the impact of different ways of communicating personal mental health risk on emotional outcomes and engagement within a mood monitoring app.

This study involves downloading a smartphone App known as Mindtrack to find out about your mental fitness through completing short questionnaires and ongoing monitoring of your mood over 4-weeks. This study will help researchers understand the benefits and harms of communicating personal mental health risk. 

This study (2017/728) has been approved by The University of Sydney Human Research Ethics Committee.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are aged between 18 and 70 years
  • Fluent in English
  • Live in Australia
  • Are employed
  • Have a mobile phone number and access to a smartphone
