Psychology of online shopping behaviours

A study investigating the thought processes involved in online shopping and the impact this may have on perceptions of fashion websites

Looking for females aged between 18-30. 


  • Open to females between 18 – 30 years old
  • Participation gives you the opportunity to enter into a draw to win an iTunes voucher
  • The study is conducted online; you will need access to an internet-connected laptop or PC (windows or mac) to participate, as it is not compatible with smartphone devices
  • Will take you roughly 30 minutes to complete in its entirety
  • You will be asked to complete two tasks (a memory task and an evaluative task where you will be presented with online shopping images/advertisements)
  • You will also be asked to complete two surveys, which involve multiple choice answers and short written answers

This study has been approved by The University of Sydney HREC 2017/261.


You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are a female between 18 – 30 years old
