Volunteers needed for study looking at Bipolar I disorder

Seeking volunteers for a study into Bipolar I

We are seeking individuals with an existing diagnosis of bipolar I disorder to be involved in a study looking to find a better way of predicting who might develop the illness.

If eligible, participation involves visiting The Westmead Institute for an MRI brain scan, a cognitive assessment, an EEG and completing an interview as well as some questionnaires.

This can be done over one day, or spread over two days.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you are aged between 18-65 years and either have:

  1. A diagnosis of bipolar I disorder
  2. A diagnosis of major depression disorder
  3. No current diagnosis (a community control)
