MYMeals Study - measuring young adults' Meals

Young adults spend the highest proportion of their budget on fast food and eating out
How often are young adults eating out, how much are they eating and where are they purchasing their food from? This study will answer some of these questions

Young adults are the age group spending the highest proportion of their budget on fast food and eating out. However, we don’t know how often they are eating out, how much they are eating and where they are purchasing their food from. This study will answer some of these questions.

Participants will complete an online questionnaire, then record everything they eat or drink for three days into a custom-designed smartphone app. After the three days of recording, participants will complete a second questionnaire to collect more detailed information on their health and social situation. At the end of the study they will receive a gift voucher for their time.

Ethics committee approval: 2016/546
