Sydney Symposium Choral Foundation Conducting Scholarship Up to $8,500 p.a.

  • Applying for an engineering or medicine and health undergraduate degree through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) portal.
  • Residing, at the time of UAC application, in an area in the lowest 25 percent of the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Socio-Economic Index for Areas (SEIFA) Index of Education and Occupation (IEO).
Supporting Entry into University Medicine or Dentistry Program Scholarship $1,200
  • Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident and a resident of NSW, 
  • Have resided in a rural or remote area in NSW for a minimum of five consecutive or eight cumulative years since the age of five, 
  • Provide evidence of enrolment into the 2024 GAMSAT or UCAT exam, 
  • Demonstrate a desire to contribute to the future of health in rural and regional NSW, 
  • Successful recipients must not have accepted a NSW Health scholarship or subsidy within the last two years.
