Research interests

My research is focussed on quantum computers based on trapped-ion technology. Aside from building the experimental platforms, I investigate their use in the simulation of other quantum systems (both analog and digital quantum simulation). In addition, I work on the development of techniques to suppress computational errors through specially-engineered control sequences.
