Biographical details

Nethal completed his PhD in mathematics from Nankai University in China. After graduation from Nankai University in 1999, he tutored at what is now known by The School of Physical, Environmental and Mathematical Sciences (UNSW), lectured at the Western Sydney University, The Northern Consortium of British Universities and Macquarie University. He also worked as mathematics modeller at the Australian Department of Defence.

Research interests

My research interest is in the areas of robust regression analysis techniques, non-parametric and semi-parametric regression, stochastic system modelling, statistical and machine learning, business analytics, partial least square path modelling, dynamics modelling and simulation and their applications in military, environment, ecology, health, education and social sciences.
