Research interests

Dr Wei-Wei Zhang is a researcher at the University of Sydney, and in the ARC Centre for Engineered Quantum Systems (EQUS). Dr Zhang’s research focus on the theory of engineering intermediate quantum information processors. This includes her contribution to the study of reliable quantum devices and the algorithms being able to be implemented with current quantum technologies. Specifically, Dr Zhang’s work focuses on topological quantum systems, which are a particularly exciting platform because of their deep fundamental electronics and material science properties, and because they possess promising applications in topological quantum computation and the design of novel components for quantum computers.
