After your exam

Lost property

You are responsible for any items you bring with you to your exam. If you have left something in an exam room, first return to the room to check if the item is still there.

Found items are collected and recorded in an electronic database and stored for a period of three months (excluding any forms of ID). For WHS reasons, lunch boxes, water bottles, coffee cups and clothing are not kept. Due to security concerns, USBs/flashdrives are recycled thorugh a secure e-waste service.

Find out what to do if you’ve lost or found something.

Identification cards

Uncollected Student ID cards are returned to the Student Centre in the Jane Foss Russell building each week. Other uncollected identification (licenses, passports etc) are held for one month and then destroyed to ensure the owner's privacy.

Access to completed examinations scripts

You can ask your examiner or department to see your completed exam scripts, within the script retention period (six months from the date of the release of the result). If your exam paper includes questions that are used on more than one occasion, you can only read your paper under supervision.

Some past exam papers are available on the University Library website.
