Science, agriculture, environment and veterinary science

The following are stand-alone honours programs requiring an additional year of study. Information on these programs is available in Find a Course.

Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (Honours)

The honours program is integrated into the final year (Year 4) of your undergraduate degree. You will complete a 24 credit point research project as well as 12 credit points of coursework.

Eligibility

You need to have achieved a WAM of at least 65 across units of study completed in Year 2 and Year 3 of your undergraduate degree.

Bachelor of Psychology

The Bachelor of Psychology includes an embedded honours program in the fourth year of the degree.

You will need to meet the requirements for entry into the fourth year of the program, and submit an application.

To apply for honours in 2019, complete the Psychology honours application by 11.59pm, Thursday 30 November.

Bachelor of Veterinary Biology (Honours)/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine

The honours program requires you complete an additional year of full-time study, after you have successfully completed Year 3. You may request permission from the Dean to complete honours part-time (over four consecutive semesters) if you are unable to complete honours full-time. 

You can complete honours after Year 3 by suspending your Bachelor Veterinary Biology/Doctor of Veterinary Medicine for one year (with Faculty permission). Alternatively, you can complete honours after the completion of both degrees in the combined program.
