Sweden CSN financial aid

Centrala Studiestödsnämnden (CSN) is the Swedish government authority in charge of financial aid for students. CSN approves and sends out Swedish financial aid for studies, which includes both grants and loans to students in Sweden and abroad.

How to apply

You can apply direct on CSN's website.

CSN will send you a Study Assurance form within eight weeks of the start of the upcoming semester. You will not receive your funding until the form has been completed.

Once you receive your form:

  • complete the students section of the form
  • send the form to our International Loans Team at international.finaid@sydney.edu.au. We will complete the required sections of the form and then email it to your University student email account.
