Libraries

Our libraries are located on different campuses and specialise in particular subjects. They have a wide range of facilities, including spaces for group and individual study.

Library hours and support

University of Sydney libraries are open for students and staff. Find out the latest on locations and opening hours on the Library website.

In our libraries you can access:

  • a wide range of databases and other electronic resources
  • thousands of books
  • research assistance
  • subject guides
  • guidelines on writing, citing and referencing
  • printing, scanning and photocopying facilities
  • study spaces.

Getting access

Your student card is your library card and you can use it to borrow items and access the library after hours.

Many of the library facilities are online and can be accessed from your phone or computer. Some of our libraries are open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Go to the Library website for library locations and opening hours.
