Study spaces

Whether you need a collaborative working space, access to a computer or a place to plug in your laptop, we have spaces all over our campuses for you to study.

All computers managed by ICT in our study spaces are virtual desktops. They provide access to standard software, as well as course-specific applications. You can customise your virtual desktop so that bookmarks, applications and downloads are available on any of our computers when you log in.

You can find computers on the campus map by selecting ‘Computer access centres’.

At the end of each study session, remember to keep a backup of your work by emailing it to yourself, saving it to an external USB or to an online file storage service such as Dropbox or iCloud.

Libraries

You can access wi-fi, computers, printers and scanners in all of our library spaces.

On the library website you will find information about the facilities available at each location. Here you can also check the availability of computers and book a room or study space.

You can also check the location and opening hours of the library study spaces.
