Tuition fees

Understand how your fees are calculated depending on what type of student you are and the course you are studying.

Overview

When you received your offer to the University, it included an offer type that determines the fees you pay. Most students are also liable for the Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF).

Understand your financial statement

You can view your financial statement for each semester or research period in Sydney Student (go to 'My finance', 'Your finances', then 'View financial statements'). You will have a separate financial statement for your SSAF.

The statement lists each unit of study that you’re enrolled in for that payment period and includes its associated:

  • tuition fee amount
  • equivalent full-time student load (EFTSL)
  • due date for payment
  • census date.

Instructions on how to pay your fees are also provided.
