Before enrolment opens, you need to accept your offer so we can reserve your place.
If you made your application through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), then UAC will advise you if you have been successful and received an offer to study with us.
Most offers are made in December as part of the main round.
After you’ve heard from UAC, you will receive an email from us with instructions on how to accept your offer online.
The usual process is to log into Sydney Student using the user name and password we give you, and select ‘My applications’, then ‘Confirm your place’.
Please accept your offer within 10 calendar days. We cannot guarantee your place after this, as there are limited places in our courses.
Enrolments for new commencing students in 2018 will open on 27 November 2017. We will send out enrolment information to students who have accepted their offers.
If you applied directly to us through Find a course, we will email you when the outcome of your application is ready to be reviewed.
We may make a conditional or unconditional offer to you.
To accept the offer, log into Sydney Student with the same user name and password you used at the start of the application process, and select ‘My applications’, then ‘Respond to offer’, followed by ‘Accept and continue’.
Whether you apply to us through UAC or directly, there are a few additional steps you need to take as an international applicant.
You can reserve a place in your course by following the directions supplied within the offer to confirm your place.
An offer may be made with the condition that you supply further documents. This may include proof of English language proficiency, such as a certified copy of your IELTS or TOEFL Official Score Report; and evidence of your grades or qualifications, such as an academic transcript.
Your offer will indicate the fees payable to the University to confirm your place. When you accept your offer online, the exact amount you need to pay will be determined based on the Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) options you choose. If you are a sponsored student, we need to have proof of your sponsorship before you accept, so that you can accept your offer with the correct sponsorship information.
If you can’t accept your offer online for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible.
After you have accepted your offer, the University will send you an electronic confirmation of enrolment (eCoE), which you need to have before you can apply for a visa.
If you won’t be accompanied by a parent, legal custodian or suitable relative and would like assistance with services for homestay, guardianship and welfare, please provide a request along with your application for admission.
