We provide high quality academic and English language courses to support international students.

Our programs

Direct Entry Course (DEC) is an English language program that prepares you for direct admission to your chosen course at Sydney University.

  • To be eligible, you need a conditional offer of admission to the University and an international English test result, or equivalent.
  • Courses run for five to 36 teaching weeks, depending on your current level of English language skills and the level required for your degree.

Group Study Programs are our cutting-edge, innovative programs for University students and English teachers who wish to improve their English communication skills and experience academic life. These courses are open to all prospective international students with an offer from the University, and a minimum IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent.

Graduate Academic Skills (GAS) is a high level five-week academic skills course that provides an introduction to the expectations and values of academic culture in an Australian university.

English Language Teacher Training (ELTT) is an innovative professional development course that covers the latest theories and approaches to teaching English for speakers of other languages.

English for Academic Purposes Teacher Training (EAPTT) is an advanced professional development course that builds on the foundational skills of ELTT and applies these to the specialised context of Teaching English for Academic Purposes.

Advanced Skills for Academic Success (ASAS) is an intensive four-week advanced academic skills course for international scholars sponsored by the Australian government.
