We offer a number of bursaries and interest-free loans to assist with essential study and living costs.
A bursary is a type of scholarship awarded on the basis of financial need, designed to help cover essential living and study expenses. Bursaries cannot be used to fund overseas travel or tuition fees.
Bursaries are awarded to eligible full time domestic students on the basis of financial need, through trusts set up by private benefactors or the University. There are two types of bursaries available – general bursaries and advertised bursaries.
We offer interest-free loans of up to $1000 to full-time domestic students and international students to help you pay for your living and study expenses. You generally need to repay your loan within 12 months or before you graduate. This is agreed upon (in writing) at the time of your loan approval. If you cannot comfortably begin repayments until the end of your degree, there are other options. We offer loans for students enrolled in final stages on specific postgraduates degrees. Repayment for these loans begins after you graduate.
