This unit of study continues on from semester one. The student will be able to describe and interpret what is observed on intra oral radiographs. The program will introduce students to the design and construction of removable partial dental prostheses. In addition, the students will learn how to use hand instruments in simulated periodontal clinic and will become familiar with contemporary diagnostic procedures in periodontics. Above all, students will have opportunity to develop skills in professional behaviour in clinical situations.
