Orientation and Welcome for New Students

The faculty invites all of our commencing students to join us for our 2013 orientation program

Orientation day introduces commencing students to the myriad of support services available and provides an opportunity for you to meet fellow students and the faculty staff.

Formal welcome sessions run for approximately two hours and includes an official welcome by Dean John Redmond, presentations by our Student Administration team, Student Design Associations, and centralized services including SRC, The Sci-Tech Library and Mentoring Program.

12noon - 4pm BBQ: in The Wilkinson Building Courtyard.

Postgraduate Orientation
Formal Presentation:
6pm-7.45pm
Drinks & Nibbles:
7.30pm-9pm

The University of Sydney hosts a number of events throughout orientation week including special workshops to help you adjust to University life, welcome drinks and comedy nights presented by the USU, and it's also great chance to sign up to the student clubs and sports teams!
