General enquiries

If you have any enquiries that are not addressed in the Frequently Asked Questions section or described on the Services page, you have three options for obtaining technical help;

  • Firstly, you can visit ICT's "Switch" support website;
    - http://sydney.edu.au/ict/switch/

  • Failing that, you can contact the University HelpDesk;
    - +61 2 9351 6000 (or extension 16000 from any University phone line)

  • Or Email the HelpDesk at , ensuring you have provided all the relevant information. Be sure to attach any error messages or screen captures that demonstrate the problem. Be as specific as you can and provide the following;
    - Your full name
    - Faculty/school and room location
    - Your UniKey (eg. abcd1234)
    - Your student number

Faculty-specific enquiries

For enquiries specific to our Faculty, you can contact the in-house ICT liaison on the following Email address (due to the demanding nature of ICT-related jobs within the Faculty, please reserve this option only for urgent enquiries);

  • And direct printer-related enquires to
