Description

While our knowledge of everyday life is often taken for granted, considered ordinary or banal, the field of everyday life studies has provided important tools for critically understanding everyday spaces and cultural practices. This advanced unit combines theoretical analysis of key thinkers in the field - Henri Lefebvre, Michel de Certeau, Raymond Williams and Meaghan Morris - with attention to everyday practices and the research methods used to investigate them.
