Network of Asia-Pacific Schools and Institutes of Public Administration and Governance
The Network of Asia Pacific Schools and Institutes of Public Administration and Governance (NAPSIPAG) is a network of schools and institutes of public administration within Asia and the Pacific region, established as a project of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
NAPSIPAG was officially launched through an international conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on December 6-8, 2004. There are now over 90 members throughout the Asia-Pacific Region.
The mission of NAPSIPAG shall seek to enhance the quality of governance and public administration in the Asia-Pacific region by building the capacities of its national governments to promote good governance, through practical, relevant, and responsive training, education, and research.
GSG was host to the 2006 NAPSIPAG conference on 4th and 5th December at the University of Sydney. The theme for the Conference was Innovation and Policy Transfer and Governance and explored concepts as to how can they best contribute to social and human development.
