«p»This research aims to discuss how Taiwanese Indigenous lagages are conserved and revitalised via museums' viewpoint. It will get involved into both sociolinguistic and museum studies. It will evaluate the implementation of Taiwanese language policy through a study of the linguistic landscape of Taiwanese museums, with a particular focus on Taiwanese Indigenous languages.Museums are seen as institutions of providing educational funtions as schools. Moreover, they play a vital role of conserving both tangible and intangible heritages as well. As languages are regarded as essential elements of culture, the research will get involved into discuss whether Taiwanese museums can help Indigenous People conserve and promote their native languages to help the public identify their native languages and cultures.«/p»
