Professor Murray Print
Murray is a recognised leader in civics and political education and curriculum development within Australia and internationally. He has been appointed to the College of Experts for the European Science Foundation. Over the past two decades he has directed many major research projects such as an ARC-funded project on youth participation in democracy, as well as being chief investigator in many other projects in civics and citizenship education covering:

- Professor Print and members of the Thai Civic Coalition are working on cutting edge curricula on democratic citizenship that can be applied to Thailand. The project is funded by a competitive grant from the Australia-Thailand Institute, DFAT
- Australian Research Council Discovery grant commencing 2012 : National educational goals, schools and building democracy for the future. This project addresses three key issues - how to engage young people as active, informed citizens; how can schools be more effective in preparing citizens and sustaining their future civic participation; and how do national educational goals affect this process.
- Project with Beijing Normal University on 'good' citizens for the 21st Century
- Creation of the Institute for Didactics in Democracy at the Leibniz University, Hannover, Germany.
- Building a Thai Civic Education Model, an on-going project with leading Thai civic educators.
