Facilities

Boundary Lane has separate facilities for children aged 0 - 2 years (the nursery) and 2 - 5 year olds (the kindergarten).

The Nursery

The nursery caters for 0 - 2 year olds and has a sleep room, an indoor play room, a meals room with washing and toilet facilities, and an outdoor play area that includes a sand pit. The outdoor area is well shaded and all staff and children wear hats when outdoors as part of our sun protection programme. There are four carers per day.

The Kindergarten

Children aged 2 - 5 are separated into three groups with 2 carers\teachers per group:

• K1: 2 - 3 year olds
• K2: 3 - 4 year olds
• K3: 4 - 5 year olds

Each age group has its own room where children engage in group time activities organised by the group's carers/teachers. The outdoor play area includes a sand pit, slide and play gym. During outdoor activity time, all age groups mix and children are free to participate in any activity. Other facilities include a meals area and toilet and washing facilities.
