Membership

Each year the Beta Gamma Sigma nominating committee at the University of Sydney Business School elects eligible graduates and students for collegiate chapter membership.

Eligibility for membership is based on stringent academic criteria.  Students must have completed the:

  1. first year of a baccalaureate degree at a school accredited by AACSB International in at least the upper 10 percent of the class; or
  2. second year of a baccalaureate degree at a school accredited by AACSB International in at least the upper 10 percent of the class; or
  3. requirements to be awarded a baccalaureate degree at a school accredited by AACSB International in at least the upper 10 percent of the class; or
  4. first year of a masters degree at a school accredited by AACSB International in at least the upper 20 percent of the class; or
  5. requirements to be awarded a masters degree at a school accredited by AACSB International in at least the upper 20 percent of the class; or
  6. have completed the requirements to be awarded a doctoral.

The cost of lifetime membership, payable directly to Beta Gamma Sigma is USD75. The University of Sydney Business School does not charge any additional membership fees.
