We're here to support students affected by the devastating floods, cyclones and torrential rain across Asia, particularly across Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam. We'd like to remind you that free health and wellbeing support is available 24/7, including support over the University break. If your studies have been impacted, including sitting for an exam, special consideration and arrangements may be available to you. If you wish to apply, please submit a student declaration (docx, 51.5KB) as your supporting document. Information about how to apply for special consideration can be found on the current student website.
If you are a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) student and you find you will need to take a period of leave or discuss any candidature or current scholarship matter, please contact your HDRAC team for advice. You can find details about additional support for HDR students on the Graduate Research Hub.
We're giving your student website a fresh new look to make it easier to use and better to navigate. You'll start noticing updates from late November and throughout 2026 as we roll things out. Don't worry, nothing's disappearing. All your usual info will stay where you expect it while we make the improvements.
Continuing students can now select Semester 1 and 2 units of study early for 2026. Select your units in Sydney Student (go to ‘My studies’, then ‘Units of study’).
You will still need to confirm your units and complete your enrolment from 17 December once results are released. Find out more.
Apply for a USI or check if you have an existing USI through the Government USI website. Once you have one, you need to provide to us in Sydney Student (go to ‘My details’ then ‘Personal details’). Find out more about USIs.
