Reporting Your Publications

Material published by PhD students, such as conference proceedings and journal articles, can be included in the annual Higher Education Research Data Collection (HERDC) which reports the Faculty's research publications to the Commonwealth Government. Please refer to the HERDC Staff Manual to see the steps required to report a publication. Glenn Howell, the Faculty's Research Assistant is able to assist you with any enquiry.

To have your publications displayed on your homepage you must email business.researchunit@sydney.edu.au all the details of each publication. Publications will be uploaded to the website at the end of each week, so if you wish to have a publication displayed please ensure you notify the Faculty Research Unit by close of business on Thursdays. Otherwise it will be another 7 days before the publication data is uploaded. The Faculty Research Unit also uses this data to ensure that the Faculty web site is up to date and correct, and updates publications on student home pages. For details on how to obtain a Faculty web homepage please contact the Faculty Research Unit.
