Request to Amend Enrolment Status (DC)
The deadline for discontinuing a 2014 unit of study with a grade of Discontinue Not to Count as Failure (DC) is 22 April for semester 1 and 12 September for semester 2.
DC grades are only available after the deadline in exceptional circumstances. Students who experience serious illness or misadventure that prevents them from continuing studies after the deadline may apply for a DC grade by submitting a completed Request to Amend Enrolment Status Form and supporting documentation to the Staff and Student Services office.
A Discontinue Not to Count as Failure (DC) grade carries no academic penalty, but students remain liable for HECS or fees for the units of study.
