Master of Management

The Master of Management degree is a 60 credit point (12 months full time or 2 years part time) pre-experience program that will equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary for a career in management in your chosen field.

You will be part of a hand-picked group of around 50 students who work together in an inspiring environment. Gain hands on experience working with multinational corporations such as Deloitte, PwC and Procter and Gamble, making invaluable contacts and forging future networks.

The program emphasizes a holistic approach, exploring the essential areas of business from strategy to project management. Through practical application of theoretical concepts and learning by doing, you will graduate with an understanding of all aspects of business and their relation, so that you can launch your career with confidence.

Launch your career with the Accelerated Career Program*. Undertake a 6-month paid internship with one of our leading corporate partners, following your first semester of study. The internship will provide you with vital industry experience and a deep insight into the corporate partner’s business operations.

Business in China

Take part in an intensive immersion, delivered in China, during your degree. The unit will introduce you to the Chinese business environment, including both the private and state sectors. Featuring site visits and insight into the cultural features of the Chinese economy, you will explore key areas such as the management challenges of entering new markets, managing across cultures and regulatory environments, identifying and realising new opportunities and management and coordination challenges in multinational firms.

Commonwealth Supported Places

Most postgraduate students pay tuition fees, however, limited Postgraduate Commonwealth Supported Places are available to eligible students in some business and commerce programs.*

A Commonwealth Supported Place is a higher education place for which the Government makes a contribution towards the cost of the education. Students pay a student contribution amount (previously known as HECS charges), which varies depending on the course. There is no requirement to apply for these places as a selection on merit will be made to domestic applicants who have applied by the following closing dates:

  • Round 1: Monday 12 December 2016
  • Round 2: Monday 30 January 2017

Offers of Commonwealth Supported Places will be made within three days of the above closing dates to successful applicants.
