Faculty of Dentistry
As Australia’s first dental school, the Faculty of Dentistry has been training dental practitioners for more than 100 years.
The faculty fosters research excellence, innovation and collaboration at the highest level, across the spectrum of basic science, clinical practice and population oral health. Our particular focus is on the emerging priorities of chronic disease and ageing.
Our graduates are caring, clear thinking, clinically outstanding and research capable. They are engaged and globally aware and have the capability to become leaders in oral health, dentistry and research.
We caught up with Dr Christina Adler who presented at the 2016 Murphy Australian Frontiers of Science meeting to find out more about her research and how will help to transform the future of dentistry.
Professor Heiko Spallek will be one of the chief investigators researching the effects of computerised clinical decision support systems on the delivery of smoking cessation by dental professionals.
