The University of Sydney has recently modified its Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process in order to streamline previously fragmented purchasing activities across the University. This includes changes to procurement and acquittal procedures. Like many other educational institutions world-wide, the University has implemented an online procurement tool for the purchase of its many generic consumable goods.

The successful roll-out and adoption of the new process is fully congruent with the University’s Strategic Plan and and will help to deliver on the University’s aspirational 1:5:40 vision.

Deployment of eProcurement will enable the University to deliver a leading procurement infrastructure that will standardise purchasing practices to provide greater spend transparency and University-wide savings.
