Online payment - international students

This site accepts online credit card payments from international students for:

  • Tuition Fees
  • Compulsory Subscriptions
  • Late Fees
  • Instalment Fees

Please read the following instructions carefully.

PREFERED PAYMENT OPTION

Travelex Pay 24/7 – A fast, secure system for international student payments The University of Sydney has partnered with Travelex to provide international students with a fast and secure payment service.

Pay 24/7 is a web-based service that allows international students to make their tuition payments as either a telegraphic transfer (in local currency where available), or via VISA/Mastercard (with the option of paying in local currency).

Pay 24/7 gives students the certainty of the final cost and will also speed up the receipt of the Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), allowing earlier initiation of the visa application process.

OTHER PAYMENT OPTIONS

Instructions for all international students

  1. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard or Diners
  2. At the first screen select “Pay my HECS/Fees” from the transaction list.
  3. You will be asked to enter:
    a. Student ID Number
    b. Family Name
    c. Amount you wish to Pay
  4. The comments field is not mandatory and can be left blank
  5. When all information has been entered please click on “Submit Payment”.
  6. The next screen will show your input from the previous screen. Please click on “Process Payment for the above Selections” to confirm details are correct.
  7. An information screen will then be displayed regarding secure payment via credit card. Please click on “Pay Now” to proceed with credit card payment.
  8. At this screen you will be asked to enter the following;
    a. Credit Card Number
    b. Expiry Date
    c. The last three digits of the number at the back of the credit card.
  9. When all information has been entered please click on “Pay”.
  10. The next screen is a confirmation screen showing all the credit card information input. Please click on “Confirm Payment” to accept details.
  11. The final screen lists the details of your payment and includes a payment receipt number. Please ensure that you print a copy of this receipt.
  12. Please ensure you exit the browser when the receipt has printed.
  13. To prevent accidental or double payments you may only make one payment every twenty four hours.
  14. If you want to make a large payment you may need to check the card’s credit limit, or arrange to have the card’s credit limit raised.
  15. It is possible to make the payment over a number of days, provided the full fee owing is paid by the published due dates.

Please note:

  • Credit card transactions take about 10 to 15 seconds to process. After clicking the “pay” button please do not press the “stop” or interrupt the web browser in any way.
  • In the event you do not receive a response from the payment gateway, please do not process another transaction. Instead contact the International Student Office to find out the result of the transaction.
