School visits

School visits

The Koori Centre runs an information program for primary and secondary schools. A Koori Centre representative will, at your request, visit your school to provide Indigenous students with information on:

  • the wide range of courses offered by the University of Sydney
  • the Cadigal Special Entry Program
  • enrolments
  • student support services
  • Koori Centre Indigenous Programs
  • other facilities
  • scholarships
  • accommodation.

This program is offered to all schools in rural NSW and the Sydney metropolitan area.

The Koori Centre also provides the opportunity for primary and secondary schools to visit the Centre. Please arrange a time with the Community Liaison Officer or another staff member.

Students are given a tour of the Koori Centre, introduced to staff members, provided with an information package and taken through the Information Program.

The University of Sydney has many other interesting places such as galleries, museums or faculties that schools may wish to visit. Please contact our staff to arrange any visits.
