Greenwich hospital is a public hospital providing rehabilitation, supportive and palliative care, older persons’ mental health, pain management, community care and pastoral care services. It is one arm of the Hammond Care Services, based on the busy Lower North Shore of Sydney. Greenwich Hospital currently has 90 inpatient beds, and in recent years has grown to add more than 10 palliative care beds to a total of 25, and 20 in rehabilitation to a total of 45. There are also Day Hospital beds available in both Palliative care and Rehabilitation (numbers vary daily).
At the heart of this growth is a passion to provide health services for people where and when they need them. They also specialize in ‘at home’ care, providing a vital service to the community.
Greenwich Hospital is easily accessible by bus or train. Student identification badges should be displayed at all times while in the hospital.
