Elective Fees

Elective Fee*
AU$900.00 for an elective of up to 4 weeks
AU$1,100.00 for an elective of 4 to 8 weeks
AU$500 per week for an elective over 8 weeks (including the first 8 weeks) for example, the elective fee for a 16 week placement would be AU$8,000.00

These fees do not apply to medical students studying in Australia at an Australian University

Enrollment fee (non-refundable)

This fee applies to all medical students

The AU$100.00 enrollment fee is charged once a place is reserved on your behalf.

The Elective Fee is charged once we have received your original paperwork which is due no more than three weeks after a placement being reserved on your behalf.

Fees can be paid by Visa, MasterCard or an international bank cheque in Australian dollars drawn on an Australian bank and redeemable in Australia. The cheque is made out to the University of Sydney, Sydney Medical School - Northern.
We do not accept any other method of payment.
