COO was a partner with the Australian Centre for Health Promotion on research commissioned by NSW Health on 'Television Food advertising: estimating children's exposure'.

Tender project - Healthy Weight for Adults and Older Australians
A review of the evidence for interventions and the development of a framework for interventions to address overweight and obesity in adults and older people, with specific reference to people living in rural and remote Australia and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.
Investigators: NSW Centre for Overweight and Obesity, Centre for Physical Activity and Health, NSW Centre for Public Health Nutrition, in collaboration with the Collaborative Centre for Aboriginal Health Promotion, Centre for Rural Health (Broken Hill) and University of Queensland.
This project was completed in October 2005. The literature review component of this project has been published on the website of the Australian Department of Health and Ageing:

Based on this project, the National Obesity Taskforce developed a national action agenda Healthy Weight for Adults and Older Australians, which was endorsed by Australian Health Ministers in April 2006. This is available on the ADHA healthy active website.
