Reporting obesity: a resource for journalists
This publication highlights current debates in relation to obesity as a health problem and proposes alternative ways in which the issue can be reported in the media. Based on current research on media coverage, Dr Catriona Bonfiglioli exposes common myths, discusses how media can cover solutions as well as problems, and identifies fresh news angles. The publication offers new insights to journalists, students and health professionals.

Healthykids Regional Workshops
NSW Regional Workshops
During 2006, COO contributed to 10 NSW regional workshops on Promoting Healthy Eating and Activity for Kids: What's Happening in NSW? The workshops were run by NSW Department of Education and Training, NSW Department of Health, NSW Tourism, Sport and Recreation, and National Heart Foundation (NSW Division).
The workshops also highlighted the portal Healthykids.
