Postgraduate Research Support Scheme (PRSS)

The Postgraduate research support scheme provides direct support for currently enrolled postgraduate research students.

2012 PRSS

2012 have not been announced. Applications will open some time in May.

There will be two rounds of the scheme in 2012, providing funds are not exhausted in the first round. Round 2 applications are likely to have less funding available. Students are strongly advised to apply for funding in Round 1.

Please note: if you are successful, it is essential to submit all receipts for reimbursement prior to the end of the year, as no payment can be made without original receipts. Any unclaimed funds will be automatically returned to the University.

Doctoral students may apply to the PRSS a total of three times over eight full-time equivalent semesters, and MPhil students may apply only once during their candidature (a maximum of four full-time equivalent semesters).
